Lake
Sharbot
Lake, located 120 km West of Ottawa and 70 km North
of Kingston is
about 15 km long with beautiful wooded land along
the shores of its bays and
many islands. It has a maximum depth of 32 metres
(105 feet) and 93 km of
shoreline.
A
fisherman's paradise, Sharbot Lake has Lake Trout,
Small and Largemouth
Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake is restocked
annually from the
Government Hatcheries with bass, northern pike, and
pan fish. Bring your
fishing rods, pick up your bait locally and be prepared
for some of the best
fishing of your life.
Sharbot
Lake is also home to many Loon families and other
water fowl. The
lake has excellent marshland for duck hunters and
adjacent Crown land for
deer and bear hunting in the fall.
