Sharbot Lake Provincial Park - There are 194 campsites, 32 with electricity and two sites are barrier-free. The park features two sandy beaches which are great for swimming and snorkelling. Sharbot Lake, with its excellent docking facilities, is ideal for large boats and water-skiing, while the small and sheltered waters of Black Lake is good for canoeing. A short portage connects the two lakes. Two nature trails wind through the high ridge of land between the two lakes.

Silver Lake Provincial Park - Nestled along a shady ridge, 148 tent and trailer sites (includes two barrier-free sites) are located in large shaded areas close to the lake.  Launch your boat from the park's boat ramp for cruising, water-skiing, sailing or rowing. A boardwalk takes hikers through the swamp to Marsh Island and across the other side to higher dry land. Hikers also enjoy the one-kilometre Marsh Trail.

Bon Echo Provincial Park - There are 500 traditional type campsites at the park. The sites in the two main campgrounds at Mazinaw Lake and Hardwood Hill are almost all accessible by car, with the convenience of comfort stations, laundry facilities and water taps nearby. To really savour the beauty and solitude of the wilderness, hike to one of the five sites along the Abes and Essens Lake overnight hiking trail. Another option is Joeperry or Pearson Lakes, where 25 canoe-in sites are scattered along the rocky shores. Popular with families, Bon Echo features an extensive Natural Heritage Education (NHE) program that is guaranteed to interest and entertain every age group

Frontenac Provincial Park - More than 170 km of trails some winding through the Moulton Gorge, the Arkon Lake Bog, the Black Lake homestead, the Crab Lake Mines, and other interesting sites.  The park is popular year-round for day-use visitors, and campers, with 48 interior campsites.  Programs like wilderness skills training  which is offered in both summer and winter seasons.

Cycling and Jogging
Cycling and jogging is a happening thing in Sharbot lake. Go from shop to shop or bike/jog along the highway and see just how beautiful Sharbot Lake really is. Get up early and jog to the water front to see the morning sun. 
 
Fishing & Hunting
Sharbot lake is world renowned for  bass, lake trout, northern pike, walleye and pan fish. Guided fishing charters are widely available from many experienced fishing guides or use your own tackle and fish directly from Sharbot Lakes picturesque waterfront. In the winter, ice-fishing huts dot Sharbot Lake. Sharbot Lake, a major duck flyway, offers fabulous fall duck hunting.
 
Boating
Boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, scuba diving, water taxis and charters - there’s no better place to enjoy the water than in the scenic Sharbot Lake area.  The best freshwater sailing and power boating for miles. With many private and public boat slips in the region Sharbot lake is a boater's paradise.
 
Shopping
Sharbot Lake offers excellent shopping opportunities with something for everyone. In addition, Sharbot Lake  is unique, close to Kingston and Ottawa,  shopping alternatives range from factory outlet malls to super malls and only a short drive  away!  Everything can be bought locally, fishing rods, bait etc. get ready for some of the best fishing you ever experienced.   Sharbot Lake Village, located on the shores of the lake, is a small community.  It contains grocery, hardware and variety stores, pharmacy, post office, bank , live bait shops, a liquor store* and  beer store.
 
Parks & Camping
Provincial and National parks, private and public campgrounds are close at hand.  For a truly unique camping experience, overnight camp sites are available around Sharbot Lake and area. 
 
Snowmobiling
The clubhouse is located just off Brewer Road, next to highway 38 on the southern edge of Sharbot Lake. During the snowmobile season the clubhouse is open every day providing warmth, bathroom facilities and limited refreshments.
